Activities
The following classes are conducted every Tuesday for the benefit of student’s mind and body. The freeom to choose any class is given to students.
Bharatanatyam
Bharatanatyam is one of the oldest classical dance forms of India, originating in the Tamil Nadu region. Known for its fixed upper torso, bent legs, intricate footwork, and sophisticated gestures and expressions, it combines elements of bhava (emotion), raga (melody), and tala (rhythm).
Western Dance
Western dance encompasses a wide variety of dance styles that have evolved in Europe and North America. These styles span from classical ballet to modern and contemporary dance forms.
Keyboard
A musical keyboard is an electronic or digital instrument that features a series of keys like those on a piano. These keys produce sounds when pressed and are used in a variety of musical genres and settings.
Silambam
Silambam is a traditional martial art from Tamil Nadu, India, that focuses on using a bamboo staff, along with other weapons and techniques. It is known for its graceful movements and fluid techniques.
Archery
Archery is the art, sport, practice, or skill of using a bow to shoot arrows. Historically used for hunting and combat, it is now primarily a competitive sport and recreational activity.
Yoga
Yoga is a holistic practice that originated in ancient India, encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines aimed at achieving harmony and balance. It involves a combination of postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation (dhyana), and ethical principles.
