Sankari Matriculation Hr.Sec.School, was founded in the year 1994 in the memory of Late. Srimathi SANKARI AMMAL a philanthropist, keen in the elementary education of children.
This school is situated in Devarkulam, Tirunelveli District, a small village midway between Tirunelveli and Sankaran koil Town. The school caters to the children belonging to Devarkulam and its neighboring villages. It started functioning with an initial advantage of 2 cents of campus site and building, but now is functioning in a Spacious campus. From the nursery level we have made prodigious strides within a shot span and have fully blossomed into a first Matriculation School. The rural children are empowered in communicative and other life oriented skills.
The purpose of education is to channelise a person’s intelligence to productive and meaningful effort.
